Colorful Glass House Sculpture Dazzles in New York

Check out those rainbow reflections! For this year's DUMBO Arts Festival, artist Tom Fruin and performance duo CoreAct presented a collaborative project called Reflection / Kolonihavehus in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Fruin's colorful plexiglass house, called Kolonihavehus, was on display. In previous years, the outdoor sculpture had been shown throughout Europe, such as in Sweden, Denmark, Austria and the Czech Republic. New York had already seen one of Fruin's pieces, the monumental sculpture, Watertower.

Stormy Clouds Roll Like Ocean Waves Across the Sky

Earlier in July, storm chaser Alex Schueth captured a mesmerizing time-lapse of undulatus asperatus clouds rolling over Lincoln, Nebraska during a storm. The rare cloud formation, whose name means “roughened or agitated waves,” looks like a sea of dark and stormy waters churning ominously in the sky. According to Weather.

Nature and Architecture Beautifully Blended in Double Exposure Portraits

Photographer Erkin Demir mainly works in fashion but he also creates beautiful blended photographs through a creative exploration of double exposures. The Turkey-based artist creates intriguing compositions by merging landscapes and architecture with fragmented bodies and faces to create a complex representation of forms. By fusing the various details together into one collective image, Demir creates an interesting depth to the otherwise simple portraits.

Luxury Yacht is the First to Feature a Floating Garage

Yachts offer incredible luxury on the sea, and the Italian company CRN has produced one that's unlike any of its kind. The 196-foot vessel is named the J'Ade and is the first to feature a floating garage. This innovative addition enables the owner to store and access a 26-foot speedboat without the use of a tender lift. Its hydraulic-operated bay can dry out in three minutes and then be transformed into a terrace-accessible ocean pool.
