Old Water Tower Converted into a Beautiful Modern Home

Architect Mauro Brigham of Bham Design Studio has repurposed an old water tower in Belgium, simply known as Chateau d'eau, into a livable home. The 30-meter-high tower, which was first constructed sometime between 1938 and 1941, has been transformed into a high-tech, modern residence that offers all the amenities of a typical house, from a bedroom and bathroom, to storage space and a panoramic terrace.

Mesmerizing Wall Collages Made of Paper and Plastic Cups

New York-based artist Lisa Hoke creates colorful wall collages out of an assortment of disposable items. Working extensively with paper and plastic cups, the artist installs each of her multilayered murals in eye-catching patterns. She playfully transforms each room into a magnificent spectacle full of snake-like formations of multihued cups as well as flattened cereal boxes and various candy wrappers.

Thought-Provoking Paintings of Out-of-Body Experiences

Soul Out is a series of oil paintings by Berlin-based artist Deenesh Ghyczy that presents surreal portraits of people having an out-of-body experience. The intriguing scenes feature an abstraction of realism, blurring the the boundaries between reality and figments of one's imagination. With each figure lost in their own thoughts, Ghyczy explores individual moments of deep contemplation. The figurative paintings are creatively executed, displaying each subject as a person with multiple physiques.

LOTR’s Rivendell Recreated with 200,000 LEGO Bricks

Back in August we brought you the incredible LEGO recreation of the Lord of the Ring's Helm's Deep Battle that took Rich-K and Big J, 150,000 LEGO bricks to build. Now, it's time to show you another recreation inspire by J.R.R. Tolkien's epic saga. Master LEGO builders Alice Finch and David Frank have teamed up to make the Elven outpost in Middle-earth, Rivendell, using an astonishing 200,000 LEGO bricks.
