A Satirical Look at the Controversial Art of Painting Cats

Author Burton Silver and illustrator Heather Busch have collaborated on an art book titled Why Paint Cats: The Ethics of Feline Aesthetics that has been received in varying degrees of praise and disgust. What many don't realize is that it is categorically a humor book that essentially pokes lighthearted fun at the art industry and our societal obsession with cats. Naturally, images from the book have made their way online, igniting some controversy.
