Fantastical Insect Women by Laurent Seroussi

Photographer and graphic designer Laurent Seroussi combined the beauty of the human female form with fascinating, symmetrical, and leggy bug bodies in this project entitled Insectes. The fantasy creations incorporate sleek female figures blending with the bodies of insects in extremely realistic and well-photoshopped depictions. Glittering Fashion Illustrations by Katie Rodgers

Pretty watercolor paintings come alive on the page with the help of artist Katie Rodgers. Commissioned by companies such as Kate Spade and Coach, Rodgers has turned her childhood love for watercolors into a full-time career. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Industrial Design, she worked in apparel design at Reebok, and illustrated on the side, until she was able to illustrate exclusively, which was only back in January 2012.

It's fascinating to see the rapid evolution of its skyline from 1879 to 2013, when One World Trade Center will be complete. Within that long time frame, the city has lived through many transformative events, including the Great Depression in the 30's and September 11th in 2001.
