Stunning Geometric Mirrored Animal Sculptures

London-based artist Arran Gregory's work spans from illustration to minimalist sculptures. In a recent exhibit at The Print House Gallery, titled WOLF, Gregory featured two of his Mirrored Animals sculptures alongside a variety of his detailed illustrations. Dazzling Pen Portraits by Josh Bryan

While at first glance these stunning black and white portraits look like they were created in Illustrator, you'd be surprised to find out they're actually pen drawings. 20-year-old England-based artist Josh Bryan has a set called Triangulations where he's taken some well-known celebrities – like Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein, Helen Bonham Carter, and Johnny Knoxville – and created their likeness in abstract, geometric form. Hundreds of tiny triangles make up each face. Love love love.

The United Nations of Ant Farms

Across the course of his career, Japanese artist Yukinori Yanagi has found ways to collaborate with the tiny little world of ants in his artwork. In The World Flag Ant Farm, Yanagi created a series of world flags by pouring colorful sand into a labyrinth of plexiglass boxes connected by tubes. He then introduced live ants into the art farm and let them go about their daily lives.

Disney’s Creative Hot Air Balloon Recreates Up House

Leave it to Disney to pull off one of the greatest marketing stunts of all time. Back in 2009, to promote the European release of Up, Disney created a whimsical hot air balloon with an inflatable house that resembled the one straight from the movie. The Up balloon was made in England, took six months to build and consisted of 540 individually sewn balloons, each with 13 panels, attached to a digitally printed envelope.
