Bolivian Salt Flat Creates Amazing Walking on Water Illusion

Located at 11,995 feet above sea level, Salar de Uyuni is a mystifying salt flat in Altiplano, Bolivia that has a reflective nature when covered with water. The briny layer of land, created through the rainy season, transforms the otherwise plated pockets of dry salt into a giant mirror, giving the illusion of walking on water.

Collage Artist Masterfully Controls Chaos

Florida-based artist Derek Gores creates brilliant collage masterpieces on canvas using recycling magazines, labels, and other found materials. Over the years, he has become a master at controlling chaos within his artwork. “I start with a photo shoot, play around deconstructing digitally, and then recreate the tones on canvas with aggressive textures from magazines, maps, song lyrics, etc,” Gores explains in an interview with Sour Harvest.

Massive Chandelier Made of 10,000 Swarovski Crystals and 3,000 LED Lights

Outside of London, Sydney has been all the rage these days as the metropolis that's been putting on some dazzling outdoor art events. This past March, it debuted the very first outdoor opera in Australia on a custom-made stage built over the water. Over a three week period, Opera Australia, in conjunction with Events NSW, created the biggest single production ever attempted in that country.

Interactive art has been all the rage. In fact, there's even an exhibition called the 2012 Magic Art Special Exhibition Of China going on right now in the city of Hangzhou.
