Urban Street Art: City Faces – C215 (18 pieces)

Lyon French street artist Christian Gumy aka C215 travels around the world beautifying the streets wherever he goes. He usually paints local faces because “faces reflect the personality” of a city. “I paint in the streets people really belonging to the streets: tramps, but also beggars, street orphans from the poorest countries. This is a stencil tradition by the way,” he says.

Trompe L’Oeil Art (10 total)

If you know the names John Pugh or Julian Beever chances are you're already a fan of trompe l'oeil, a French phrase that translates to “trick the eye.” This type of art is usually murals or paintings that create an amazing optical illusion. One of my personal favorites was the Hausmannian building on Georges V Ave. in Paris, France during 2007. The crazy looking building looked as though it was melting!
