Stunning Black and White Photos of Exotic Animals Aren’t Quite What They Seem

The incredible black and white film photographs of Lucus Landers seemingly highlight the beauty of the animal kingdom. But, look a bit closer and you'll notice something else at play. His grainy, artistic images of animals in their natural habitat aren't quite as they appear. For Wildlife, the Brooklyn-based photographer didn't have to join an exotic safari to bring home these stunning images. He just needed to purchase a ticket to a museum.

Breathtaking Landscapes of Northern Norway Captured in Incredible 4K

Photographer and adventurer Sergey Lukankin recently traveled to northern Norway to capture the breathtaking scenery of the country’s Lofoten and Senja Islands. Using a drone camera, Lukankin’s spectacular 4K video shows the other-worldly terrain from above, providing a rare view of the icy wonderland. The camera soars and spans over the mythical Arctic landscape capturing the endless snow-covered mountainscapes, giant fjords, and icy ocean coastlines.

Elusive ‘Wrap-Around Spiders’ Seamlessly Camouflage Into Their Surroundings

Time to add more species to the list of animals who have perfected the art of camouflage. Known as the wrap-around spiders, Dolophones is a genus of spider found primarily in Australia and Oceania. The genus contains 17 species known for their abilities to blend seamlessly into their surroundings during the day by wrapping themselves around twigs or flattening against tree bark.

Stunning Winners of The Nature Conservancy 2018 Global Photo Contest

Since 1951, The Nature Conservancy has been working to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. And with its 2018 Global Photo Contest, the organization shows the powerful artistry of nature photography. For this year's contest, a record-breaking 57,489 entries were received from 135 countries. Photographers were asked to submit their best work to five different categories—Landscape, Water, People & Nature, Wildlife, and Cities & Nature.
