As a fan of double exposure photography and the surprising stories it can create, I'm fascinated by Tierney Gearon's work. Photographing at home and on trips to New York, India, Italy and South Africa, Tierney not only involves her family, she brings people from all over the world together. She calls her world multi-dimensional or kaledioscopic in that it “challenges perceptions of time, scale and space.” As her website states, “She evokes the chaos of life, exploits the allowed unpredictability of photography, and distills the ‘organized accidents' that result from her unusual approach to picture-making.”
