Street artist Kesa transforms vinyl records into a variety of birds and bats literally breaking free from their circular entities. The Lyon, France-based creative, who began his career as a graffiti artist back in 1996, utilizes the black plastic discs by repurposing them as public art silhouettes of animals with the gift of flight. Each vinyl wall installation presents a different scene of escape and freedom against the hard concrete walls they've been displayed on in the streets of Lyon. Kesa's creations are clearly inspired by its urban settings and the creatures that can be found roaming the streets, but there's also something that screams “Halloween” about them, especially those featuring soaring bats and black cats ready to pounce on their prey.
