About a month ago, we told you that we were looking for interns to help us expand our business. It brings me much pleasure to announce our recent hires – Pinar and Jacob! You may have already started to see their posts on My Modern Met. They hit the ground running and have already shown that they'll be amazing additions to our team. They will be our contributing writers so connect with them and look for their posts.
Pinar sent us this email when she applied. It caught our attention right away:
“My name is Pinar and I'm interested in becoming an intern at My Modern Met. Despite how bland the preview sentence is, I'm all about creativity. I live in NYC — Brooklyn, specifically — which is filled with innovation and I'm an avid fan of My Modern Met. It is one of my favorite websites because of the creativity it shares. I want to be part of an environment like MMM that is passionate about the arts (all of them). The words in your call for an intern really resonated with me because I am ‘web-savvy' and someone who ‘loves all things creative' and wants ‘to share their passion with the world. (It felt like you were talking to me!) I am also just as eager to learn as I am to share.”
Pinar has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film from Hunter College, The City University of New York. Her passions lie in art, culture and design.
Jacob is currently studying Industrial Design at Philadelphia University. His passion points lie in design, architecture and art.
