One of our favorite urban interventionists, sPy, opened his debut solo show last week in his home country of Spain. In Urbana, sPy features a collection of photographs chronicling his most recent works in New York City and Europe.
Instead of using the traditional means and methods of graffiti/street art like stencils, wheatpastes, or aerosol, sPy's work focuses on making playful alterations in the urban landscape. Urbana is currently on view at SC Gallery in Bilbao and runs through May 28, 2010.
