The Most Laid Back Dragon Lizard Strums a Song on His Leaf Guitar

We've recently seen a “cowboy” tree frog riding a beetle, and now this forest dragon lizard is playing a guitar! Aditya Permana, a photographer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, recently captured this strange photo after watching the creature for more than an hour. The small reptile looks totally relaxed as it reclines and holds the leaf like it's the actual instrument. Its tiny claws are even bent as if it's plucking the strings.

Permana says that he just happened upon this delightfully-odd scene. He tells Daily Mail that he didn't immediately photograph the lizard, waiting until it felt comfortable. “I noticed it looked like it was playing a guitar – and it didn't move at all.” It's safe to say Permana was definitely in the right place at the right time!
