As an illustrator and writer living in Seattle, she chronicles illustration, embroidery, and beyond through her blog Brown Paper Bag and Instagram @brwnpaperbag. She wrote a book about embroidery artist Sarah K. Benning titled "Embroidered Life" that was published by Chronicle Books in 2019. Sara is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. Meet the Furrowed-Brow Feline People Are Calling the New Grumpy Cat

Last spring, the world mourned the loss of the permanently furrowed-brow feline known as Grumpy Cat. Although no one can replace Grumpy Cat—whose real name was Tardar Sauce—it appears that there is a new “angry” kitty capturing the hearts of the internet. Named Meow Meow, the fluffy feline lives in Taiwan and has strikingly similar coloring to the dearly departed Tardar Sauce with blue eyes to match.

Photographer Shares the Striking Transformation of His Images Before and After Photoshop

Photographer Kevin Carden transforms otherwise ordinary scenes of everyday life into extraordinary tales. Using his camera and his expert knowledge of Photoshop, he patches together different settings, textures, and compositional elements to create images that evoke feelings of wonder and strength. This speaks to the larger purpose of his work. Carden says his images are inspired by his Christian faith, and he produces these photographs based on the principles found in the Bible.
