Amazing DIY Idea: Gorgeous Parachute Ceiling

Wedding coordinator Amber DeForest runs a blog called 100 Days to Plan a Wedding where she shares budget saving tips for those planning their big day. One of the most clever ideas, that she used for her own wedding, was renting a parachute and hanging it from the ceiling. Costing only $35, it's a gorgeous and unique way to transform any space. Pretty Origami Typography Spotted in San Francisco Street

Art group TheUpsideUp somehow managed to combine three of our favorite subjects into one beautiful new installation – street art, origami and typography. First spotted this past Tuesday morning in San Francisco, on Asian Art Museum's exterior wall, the pretty 3-D art installation was thought to be the work of Parisian origami artist Mademoiselle Maurice (who you may remember from this post).

Glittering Fashion Illustrations by Katie Rodgers

Pretty watercolor paintings come alive on the page with the help of artist Katie Rodgers. Commissioned by companies such as Kate Spade and Coach, Rodgers has turned her childhood love for watercolors into a full-time career. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Industrial Design, she worked in apparel design at Reebok, and illustrated on the side, until she was able to illustrate exclusively, which was only back in January 2012.
