Winners of 2023 International Pet Photography Awards Capture the Souls of Our Furry Friends

Pet photographers from 32 different countries entered their best images of dogs, cats, horses, and more to the 2023 International Pet Photographer of the Year contest. Hosted by dog photography platform Unleashed Education, the winners were revealed during Shutterhound, the world's first specialist dog photography conference. Swedish photographer Sanna Sander took home the title of International Pet Photographer of the Year for her strong portfolio of images.

2,000 Rhinos Will Be Rewilded Over the Next 10 Years

White rhinos are among the many endangered species of animals facing extinction. That is why South African John Hume founded the Platinum Rhino project in 2009 and invested over $150 million into protecting and breeding rhinos. As a result of his efforts, the project grew to 2,000 rhinos, representing a stunning 15% of the entire population worldwide.
