When YouTuber Mark Rober was stuck in quarantine, he decided to start birdwatching. After buying a bird feeder, however, he discovered that the squirrels got into his “squirrel-proof feeder,” so he bought another model—only for it to be pilfered by the rodents yet again. (And then again.) That's when the former NASA engineer decided to put his expertise to use.

Photographer Shows Deer Having a Day at the Park in Japan With No People Around

One of the oldest public gardens in Japan, Nara Park is home to over 1,200 wild sika deer who roam freely around the 502 hectares (1,240 acres) grounds. The gentle creatures usually share the park with crowds of tourists, but since the COVID-19 lockdown, the deer have been enjoying the quiet time. Locals are still allowed to visit (as long as they uphold social distancing)

Adorable Chow Puppy Nicknamed “Oreo Cloud” Looks Like a Cookies and Cream Dessert

Take one look at this Chow-Chow dog named Chief and you’ll understand why he’s such a special pup. Also known as Oreo Cloud, the fluffy canine earned the nickname because his human, Sara Hamilton, thought his dark gray speckled coat looked like an Oreo McFlurry dessert. But aside from his good looks, he's also a real treat to be around and has been making his pawrents' lives brighter ever since they adopted him.
