The striking, mostly monochromatic designs are elegant in their simplicity, but still manage to effectively convey deep messages and philosophies in creative ways. McArthur creates his works by hand, first drawing them with pen and ink, and then digitally rendering the designs.

The very same colored pencils Uribe draws with are the ones he also uses in the piece.
