Woman Creates Handmade Tiny Art Museum With Reptilian Art for Her Pet Gecko

Earlier this month, we introduced you to a London-based couple (curator Filippo Lorenzin and artist Marianna Benetti) in quarantine who built a miniature art museum for their pet gerbils. The cute, handmade creation sparked plenty of attention online, but it also caught the eye of Dallas-based actor Jill Young, who was inspired to create her own version for her 5-year-old crested gecko, aka The Mayor.

MoMA Launches Free Online Classes to Study Fashion, Design, and Modern Art

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Coursera have teamed up to send everyone back to school. Thanks to this partnership, MoMA's specifically curated art and design classes are now all free. These classes can be accessed through Coursera, a website which facilitates online learning. The museum's online classes feature subjects spanning the likes of fashion design, post-war abstract art, and pedagogical methods for artistic subjects.

Artist Launches Project to Have People Transform Their Windows Into Interactive Art

Faced with spending a lot of time indoors, some artists are using their time to encourage others to explore their creativity. This includes Spanish street artist Pejac, who is known for his clever use of silhouettes and negative space. Where many see an ordinary window, Pejac sees a canvas. And now, he's asking others to join in the fun with his #StayArtHomePejac campaign.
