Magnetic Self-Portrait Meticulously Constructed with 7,000 Hand-Painted Screws

Artist Andrew Myers has found his niche with 3D screw art. For years, we’ve marveled over the incredible, Pointillist-esque pieces that use thousands of screws to form life-like portraits and surreal imagery. Myers has just shared with us one of his latest works called Opposites Attract, which is an unconventional self portrait. In it, Myers himself is drawn towards the pull of a giant magnet.

8-Foot-Tall Bronze Sculpture of King Arthur Overlooks the Atlantic Ocean

Embed from Getty Images Sculptor Rubin Eynon creates unforgettable public artwork using a variety of mediums—from wood and stone to iron and bronze. His recent work, Gallos, was installed in April 2016, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the cliffs of Tintagel. The stately 8-foot-high bronze sculpture was not only inspired by the legend of King Arthur, but also Tintagel Castle's history. Commissioned by English Heritage, the public sculpture is not without controversy.

Makeup artist Vanessa Davis, known on social media as ‘The Skulltress,' dreams up ambitious and artistic face paint designs. Each elaborate work of makeup art showcases Davis' cosmetic know-how and wild imagination. Davis designs a range of out-of-this-world looks. The self-described “makeup and mixed media face-artist”  is known for her skull-inspired designs that transcend traditional and trendy skeletal face paint. Unlike many other makeup artists who dabble in this motif, Davis creatively and continuously finds ways to dress it up.
