Photographer and Artist Collaborate to Create Spellbinding Floral Collages

For Yen Magazine, photographer Rebekah Campbell teamed up with artist Ben Giles to create a beautiful set of collages that overlaid Ben's color-bursting flowers over Rebekah's stellar photography. This isn't the first time Rebekah has collaborated on a project with an artist but she calls it her favorite so far. Redheaded model Lauren Isabeau was the muse in the photos which featured her in a variety of sweet and seductive poses.

Exquisite Sculptural Blooms Made with Thousands of Ceramic Shards

Using thousands of ceramic shards, Israeli artist Zemer Peled constructs sculptures that resemble beautiful blooming flowers. The intricate works combine a variety of colors and designs, most notably cobalt blue that's used in traditional Japanese pottery. Peled arranges the shards according to their length, color, and shape. The similar-looking pieces form long petals with a dotted, stamen-like center.

Amazingly Regal Couch Shaped Like A Life-Size Hippo

The artist who brought us the majestic rhino throne and a herd of animal-themed furniture is back with another bizarrely regal creation: this time, a couch shaped like a hippopotamus. Mximo Riera's couch is approximately life-sized – measuring as a 1:1 scale model – and the black covering is realistically textured to feel like tough, leathery hide. Like an amazing taxidermy model, the hippo's face is incredibly detailed, gazing at onlookers with mournful eyes.

Rearrangeable Layers of Glass Form Stunning 3D Landscapes and Seascapes

Lucie Boucher and Bernie Huebner of Stone Ridge Glass are the creators of Glasscapes, stunning three dimensional sculptures made of layers of colored glass. Many of the works are interactive, meaning that the glass layers can be rearranged to take on completely different scenes. For the seascape piece above, called Ocean Laughter II, the glass pieces each represent a separate wave.
