Look Closely…This Parrot is Actually a Human Being!

Although this may look like a simple image of a parrot perched on a tree stump, believe it or not, it's actually a photograph of a woman whose entire body has been perfectly painted to resemble the tropical bird. This is the work of fine art body painter Johannes Stoetter, who is an expert at creating intricate body art illusions that look incredibly lifelike.

Amazing Hyperrealistic Paintings Show Layers of Details

Artist Joshua Suda paints portraits that look so amazingly realistic, it's hard to believe they're not photographs. Striking Floating Tree Installation Sits in the Middle of a Lake

THIRST, a temporary public art project that was on display from September to December 2013 in Austin, was created to commemorate the loss of 300 million trees that died due to the droughts that recently plagued Texas. THIRST was a collaboration between Women and Their Work Gallery, Beili Liu (lead visual artist), Norma Yancey and Emily Little (architects), and Cassie Bergstrom (landscape architect).

Native Dogs Represented as World Cup Soccer Players

With their love of chasing balls and running in packs, dogs would no doubt love to participate in the 2014 World Cup. Animal photography website Life on White imagined what they'd look like if they suited up, and placed different breeds' heads onto team jerseys. Each pairing of dog and uniform corresponds to the canine's country of origin, like the Shiba Inu in Japan or the German Shepherd in Deutschland.
