Ethereal Nature Tattoos Transform Skin Into Delicate Watercolor Paintings

Despite the South Korean law that states that only medical doctors can legally give someone a tattoo, Seoul-born artist Hongdam uses his watercolor skills to turn his clients' skin into pastel cherry blossoms and iridescent moons. He focuses on simple but elegant floral designs, drawing first the thin outline of the plant and then bleeding the ink from the sketch's core outwards. This creates a delicate watercolor effect, as the bold colors seamlessly flow into the next hue.

Artist Transforms Gallery Walls into Vibrating Electromagnetic Waves

Italian artist Loris Cecchini combines photography, drawing, sculpture, and installation in his works with the ultimate goal of forming unified poetic motion. This creative process is most evident in his latest series Wallwave Vibrations, where the installations seem to pulsate outward from within the walls. “Pirate Printers” Are Using Manhole Covers to Print Urban Designs Directly onto Shirts and Totes

Who says you need a fancy printing press and machinery to create your own t-shirt designs? The Berlin collective called Raubdruckerin (“Pirate Printers”) have taken to their own city streets with only a paint roller, ink, and a keen eye for geometric patterns. The group finds street fixtures—like manhole covers and vents—applies ink directly to the ground, and then they stamp these intricate designs onto shirts and tote bags.
