Studio Ghibli Releases 400 Still Images From Its Iconic Movies for Free

From releasing its movies on Netflix to offering free Zoom backgrounds, the famously secretive Studio Ghibli has started to open up recently, giving fans even more access to its whimsical world. The animation studio isn’t finished giving out freebies just yet though. Earlier this month, Ghibli kindly released hundreds of still images from its movies to the public, without charge.

This Miami-based art teacher is known for his creative woodblock renderings of super heroes and other pop culture references. He also dabbles in carving apocalyptic dystopian futures as well as mythic creatures and the gods and goddesses of Hinduism. Reedy's work is a satiric commentary on current society.

Insane Underwater Movie Sets (10 photos)

Have you ever wondered how movies shoot their underwater scenes? In one of the most elaborate sets in the world, British film production company Pinewood Studio captures breathtaking shots in a tank filled with 1.2 million liters (317,000 gallons) of water. The underwater stage, which opened in 2005, has been used for a huge number of TV commercials, music videos and films, including The Bourne Ultimatum, Atonement, Elizabeth and Casino Royale.
