Incredible Photos of Massive Dust Storm Taken From Fleeing News Helicopter

Photographer Jason Ferguson has been shooting from helicopters for over 6 years. In early August, he captured some incredible photographs of a dust storm spreading over Phoenix, Arizona. From his position in a news helicopter, he whipped out his smartphone to snap a few pictures as the chopper outran the storm. These dust storms, also known as haboobs, are quite common in Arizona and occur a handful of times a year during monsoon season.

Beautiful New Photos of Zaha Hadid’s Galaxy SOHO in Beijing

One of Zaha Hadid's most iconic buildings, the Galaxy SOHO in Beijing shows all the curves and harmony that the legendary architect was known for. Completed in 2012 and formed from four interconnected egg-shaped structures, it's a study in organic forms. Photographer Andres Gallardo, known for his architectural photography, made a point to document the building while on a recent trip to Beijing.

The winners of the annual Through​ ​Your​ ​Lens​ Underwater ​Photo​ Contest have just been announced, revealing extraordinary moments from ocean life. Developed​ ​and​ ​produced​ ​by Scuba Diving Magazine, the competition is now in it’s 14th year, and drew more than 2,100 incredible entries from across the globe. The 2018 winners were chosen from four categories—Wide-Angle, Macro, Conceptual, and Compact Camera, collectively showcasing a wide variety of underwater photography skills and styles.

Interview: Photographer Dedicates His Career to Documenting Tribes on the Brink of Extinction

Polish photographer Adam Koziol is on a race against time. In his mission to document dying tribal cultures around the world, the young photographer travels extensively, seeking out indigenous peoples on the brink of extinction. Thus far, his work has brought him to Africa and Asia, where he's been able to make contact with 18 tribes and conduct photo shoots with these incredible people.
