Watching these videos is like taking a master class on how to pose like a model. In television and movies, modeling photo shoots are often portrayed at a leisurely pace. The subject might strike many poses over the course of a minute, but there's no real sense of urgency to them. That's not the case for fashion models in China, where such time would be seen as a luxury.

Guy Buys 1929 Camera at Thrift Store and Develops 70-Year-Old Film Found Inside

Dutch photographer Martijn Van Oers happened upon something special when he opened up the medium format camera he'd purchased at a thrift store. The original Zeiss Ikon 520/2 contained a roll of film with the word EXPOSÉ written on it. After a bit of research, Van Oers determined that the camera dated from about 1929, while the film would have been produced at some point between the 1940s and 1970s.

Mesmerizing “Time Slice” Photos Show Single Locations at Different Times of Day

For years, artist and photographer Fong Qi Wei has been skillfully slicing photographs into awe-inspiring scenes showcasing the passage of time. Known as “time slice” photographs, each work of art combines several photos taken at different times of day to produce a single, strikingly cohesive composition. To create each piece, Wei snaps several photographs of the same location over a period of several hours. He then digitally divides the images and extracts a single strip from each.
