Photographer Attends Powwows To Take Evocative Portraits of Native Americans in Full Regalia

Over the last year, Montana-based photographer Clark Dunbar has been shooting portraits of Native Americans in traditional dress while attending powwows. The evocative portraits give a wonderful glimpse into the pride the participants have for their traditions while also highlighting their unique personalities. Dunbar embarked on this project, which he calls The PowWow Portrait Series, after looking for a way to diversify and update his portfolio.

Playful Scenes of Squirrels Interacting With Toy Dinosaurs

Watching films like Jurassic Park can make you wonder what it would be like to live in a world with dinosaurs. While it would definitely be strange for people, animals would probably be fearful of these prehistoric animals as well. Belgium-based photographer Niki Colemont tests this theory in his playful series of photos where brave red squirrels tentatively interact with toy dinosaurs that are the same size they are.

Photographer Restores Found Images of England From 100 Years Ago

Just like old paintings, photographs from different decades can offer a window into what life was like in the past. When photographer Roger Liptrot came across a collection of glass slides at a local auction, he held some up to the light and was immediately intrigued by the portraits contained inside. He ultimately won the box with a $33 bid, and spent considerable time restoring them to pristine condition.
