Woman Sets Up Bird Feeder Cam to Capture Close-Ups of Diverse Birds Visiting Her Backyard

African American Photographer’s Amazing Archive Added to the Library of Congress

No artist has shown the unique beauty of the happenings in his own neighborhood quite like Harlem-based photographer Shawn Walker. In February 2020, the Library of Congress announced in a press release that the institution, in partnership with the Photography Collections Preservation Project, was acquiring nearly 100,000 “photographs, negatives, and transparencies” from Walker’s collection.

Quarantined Travel Photographer Creates Miniature “Outdoor” Scenes With Everyday Objects

When Los Angeles-based writer and travel photographer Erin Sullivan found herself stuck inside due to COVID-19 lockdowns, she wanted to find a way to keep her imagination and creative practice alive. Using food and other objects she found around the house, she began creating miniature outdoor scenes featuring toy figurines.
