Crimean Winter Landscape Photography

Interested in combining his active lifestyle with his love of photography, Russian photographer Daniel Korzhonov recently traveled with friends to Crimea, a part of Ukraine. His photographic venture resulted in these undisturbed Crimean winter moments. When looking at each photograph, the viewer can't help but feel the shiver of a cold, snowy afternoon or drift away into the dreamy mist of a morning sunrise.

Korzhonov says his favorite genre is landscape photography. “I am attracted to the theme of man and the mountains: how man is small and helpless in comparison with the peaks of the mountains, but at the same time he can conquer it, can fight with itself and survive in the wilderness of rock, moving higher and higher.”
