Incredibly Detailed Illuminated Fish Lamps by Frank Gehry

Along with his innovative, contemporary architecture designs, prize-winning architect and designer Frank Gehry also develops smaller, but still spectacular, concepts like these glowing Fish Lamps. The large fish sculptures are covered in jagged scales, which, when softly illuminated, cast glittery shadows throughout the room.

Constructed with wire metal, ColorCore formica, and silicone on a wood base, each piece is like an intimate glimpse at a fish underwater. The curled tails and intricate patterns are reminiscent of Gehry's many mind-blowing structures that stand tall throughout the world.

The world-renowned architect's innovative approach to modern architecture has redefined many a skyline and, according to Gagosian Gallery, “[Gehry] has forever altered the urban landscape with spectacular buildings that are conceived as dynamic structures rather than static vessels.”
