Like Germany-based photographer Jakob Wagner, Vienna, Austria-based Oliver Wutscher knows how to make a city come alive! Growing up in a small town, Wutscher was always fascinated by life in the big city – mile-high skyscrapers, crowded places, neon lights and rushing cars. What better place to capture this than New York City? His beautiful and crisp shots of the metropolis not only show his love and passion for urban landscapes but also his desire to share this same feeling with the world. I particularly love his black-and-white street photos as well as the ones where people are relaxing in Times Square. “New York City is so packed and crowded, especially Times Square and this moment was really amazing,” he tells us. “The place was full of busy people rushing from point A to point B but in the middle of Broadway people were relaxing in their candy-striped lawn chairs. It was an amazing and odd scene all at the same time.” Oliver Wutscher Thanks for the tip, Hermann!
