“Millennials of New York” Hilariously Parodies the Melodramas of Generation Y

Chances are, you're familiar with Humans of New York, Brandon Stanton's public art project that reveals the inner lives of the Big Apple's everyday strangers by pairing evocative photographic portraits with personal quotes. But Millennials are a strain of humanity all their own, and now, there's a parody project to shed light (and laughter) on the young generation's particular gripes and stereotypical fixations.

Wire Sculpture Reveals Different Types of Animals, Depending on Perspective

French sculptor Matthieu Robert-Ortis has utilized the transformative influence of perspective in his brilliantly executed piece, La révolution des Girafes. From one angle, it looks like a pair of elegant giraffes, but from an alternative point of view, it’s the spitting image of a giant elephant. Everything changes depending on the viewer's perspective. Artist Reflects on Life During Pregnancy by Drawing Trees From Around the World

Artist Dina Brodsky wowed us with her miniature landscape paintings last year, and she has since embarked on another nature-inspired series she calls The Secret Life of Trees. The basic idea behind the project is to illustrate 126 different trees from all corners of the world, celebrating these life-giving plants that so many of us overlook in our day-to-day lives.
