Artist Reimagines Everyday Objects as Playfully Over-Sized Sculptures

Artist Rmulo Celdrn reimagines everyday objects as larger-than-life sculptures for his playful series called Macro. Things like bottle caps, ice cube trays, and sponges are scaled hundreds of times bigger for the sculpture series. Sometimes, this makes them well over seven feet tall. The gigantic sizing acts like a magnifying glass for these objects. By blowing up the small details, we see characteristics of the item that we'd normally miss because they're so small.

Adorable Panda "Daycare" Committed to Saving the Endangered Species

Pandas, especially the babies, are some of the cutest animals on Earth. Unfortunately, their adorable population is also deeply endangered, with approximately 1,864 giant pandas left in the wild. The Chengdu Research Base in China is doing their part to help this diminishing species–they've created a specialized “daycare” that breeds, nurtures, and eventually releases the creatures back into the wild. Through this intensive program, they hope to slowly repopulate what's been lost over the years.

David Uzochukwu started photography at a young age, picking up a camera at only twelve years old. Now, at sixteen, this self-taught Belgium-based photographer boasts a portfolio full of surreal worlds and conceptual stories. It's hard to believe, but David learned photography simply by using tutorials he found on the internet and quickly came to find a style that suited him. Often struggling with his own confidence, his journey hasn't been easy.
