Stunning Photos Illustrate the Diverse Beauty of Greenland’s Natural Landscape

With over three-quarters of its land covered by the only permanent ice sheet outside of Antarctica, Greenland may not be the first place to pop into your mind when you think of “vacation,” but a gorgeous Flickr photostream by nonprofit organization Visit Greenland just might make you book your next flight to the former Danish province. Called “the Land of Great Length,” Greenland is the world's largest island and least densely populated territory.

Paris Aquarium Lets Guests Sleep in Submerged Glass Room Surrounded by 35 Sharks

Airbnb is giving “sleeping with the fishes” a whole new (and very literal) meaning. They've recently collaborated with the French design agency Ubi Bene on an underwater suite that's completely encased in glass and submerged 10 meters deep in water. Its transparent walls offer an immersive, panoramic view of 35 live sharks that are swimming outside. Simply put: this circular room is not for the faint of heart.
