Spectacular Artwork from Nuit blanche Montral 2015

This past weekend, I was on the ground in Montreal, attending the city's wildest winter night of the year – Nuit blanche Montral.  The event took place on the last day of Montral en Lumire, an 11 day festival that illuminates the entire city and transforms it into a cultural hotspot, featuring art exhibits, riveting music performances, gastronomy, and hundreds of captivating indoor and outdoor events.

Perfectly Symmetrical Spheres Made From Hundreds of River Stones

These geometric, nature-inspired spheres made from hundreds of smooth river stones look like they belong on the grounds of a palace. Realistic Origami Dinosaurs Look Just Like Museum Models

Adam Tran's exquisite origami models of prehistoric creatures look just like realistic models from museum exhibits. The artist uses textured paper and intricate folds to create leathery figures of dinosaurs, insects and entire skeletons frozen in poses of convincing motion. He achieves shapes that seem impossible given the material. With his touch, pieces of paper transform into jagged teeth, spiny bones and sharp claws.

Hilarious Photos Offer a Fun Look into Secret Lives of Superhero Toys

Photographer Edy Hardjo humanizes superhero toys in his hilarious, on-going series of images. Using high-quality action figures, the Indonesian creative poses characters from the Marvel and DC-comic universes into picture-perfect situations. The Hulk, Thor, Spiderman, and many more are seen playing hopscotch, giving each other haircuts, and taking selfies. Hardjo's delightfully-arranged compositions offer a fun insight into their secret lives. Before this project, the photographer never liked action figures.
