Unique Movie Posters Designed in Retro-Futuristic Style

Brussels-based illustrator and graphic designer Laurent Durieux draws upon a variety of old films like Jaws, The Iron Giant, and The Birds as the inspiration for his series of intriguing movie posters. Adorable Animals Form Whimsical Alphabet Letters

London-based illustrator Marcus Reed developed this clever typography series in which animals look like the 26 letters of the alphabet. Drawing upon the creatures' natural shapes, colors, and movements, he beautifully blended different features together to form each character. A is for Alligator, J is for Jellyfish, P is for Penguin, and so on, the series is an inventive interpretation of classic typography.

Man Spends $35,000 to Transform Home into Cat Playground

With the help of construction company Trillium Enterprises, one Californian man upgraded his home into an oasis for his eighteen cats. Located in Goleta, California, the $35,000 renovation transformed the ordinary abode by adding colorful, complementing ledges (or “catwalks”) all around the house. Every room, from the master bedroom and personal office to the kitchen and bathroom, has playful accommodations for the owner's furry little friends.
