Japanese Elegance

If a good painting is judged by its combination of elegance and beauty, Ikenaga Yasunari's art would receive high marks. His lovely paintings draw the viewer in as they try and decipher what his subjects are feeling. The soft patterns and lines are created using Japanese paint applied to linen canvas with a Menso brush. How subtly beautiful.

Mind-Blowing Toothpick Sculptures

Scott Weaver is truly the definition of perseverance. 35 years ago he began his work on Rolling Through the Bay, an insanely complex kinetic sculpture made entirely of toothpicks! Weaver's elaborate sculpture is made up of multiple “tours” that have pingpong balls moving through the iconic symbols of San Francisco. He has spent well over 3,000 hours on this project.

London-based architects firm PCKO collaborated with Poland-based MOFO Architects to create this stunning glass house that's located smack dab in the middle of nature. The fully-glazed steel frame structure, suspended above site, preserves the existing natural environment and offers beautiful panoramic views of the distant Tatra Mountains. Located on the outskirts of Krakow, Poland, the 1500 sq ft (140 sq m )
