Celebrating Life with Giant Dessert Sculptures

Who's not getting just a little bit hungry while looking at these images? Peter Anton creates large scale sculptures of some of our favorite desserts like ice cream and chocolate, using plaster, wood, metal, resin, clay and acrylic. His artworks look so incredibly realistic, they'll almost make you salivate right on the spot. Personally, I love the box of donuts with gooey bits of jelly and cream left behind.

Impressively Complex Wire Trees

Sculptor Kevin Iris has been making these tree sculptures for more than 23 years and he is quite the expert! The staggering beauty of these trees is the result of hundreds of hours spent bending and twisting aluminum alloy wire combined with loads of patience. He starts with many feet of the wire and, for long-lasting value, Iris does not add any glue, coatings, or foreign substances to his work.
