Teen Interning at NASA Discovers New Planet on His Third Day on the Job

During the summer of 2019, a 17-year-old high school student named Wolf Cukier arrived at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center ready for a summer of learning at their new prestigious, coveted internship. He was put in charge of examining data collected by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS), which searches the universe for systems with two stars.

This Twisting Carbon-Absorbing Tower in Taipei Will Soon Be Completed

Paris-based architecture firm Vincent Callebaut Architectures is known for their green designs and are often referred to as ecological architects. In 2010, the firm won a competition for a sustainable residential tower for Taipei’s Xinjin District. Now, images of the Tao Zhu Yin Yuan Tower show that the structure is almost completed and that the green firm is certainly living up to its name.
