Sentimental Photos Shine a Light on the Undying Love of Elderly Couples

For several years, But Natural Photography founder Sujata Setia has primarily dedicated her practice to newborn and family photography. After recently realizing that these shoots seldom featured grandparents, however, the London-based photographer decided to shift her focus, adding sentimental portraits of elderly couples to her beautiful body of work. In her series, titled Elderlies, Setia captures the “pure and honest” love shared by pairs of aging partners.

Sculptor Uses Industrial Metal Wires to “Draw” Portraits of Historical Figures

Using iron, stainless steel, brass, and copper wires to bring the past to life, Romanian sculptor Darius Hulea masterfully mixes contemporary and classical. These industrial materials assist Hulea as he “sketches” in three dimensions, carefully molding the metals into recognizable portraits. Through his work, the great intellectuals and artists of history take on new meaning.

NASA Releases Incredible Photo of ISS Passing Across the Sun

A photo of the sun with a glimpse of the International Space Station as it orbits the Earth was recently featured by NASA and it would be stunning enough on its own; however, the image is made all the more special because it features the Sun at a time when there are no sunspots. Thanks to Rainee Colacurcio, who captured the photo, the world is able to enjoy this unique moment.
