Realistically Detailed Photo Book Looks Just Like a Sandwich

You may want to grab a snack before checking out this Sandwich Book by photographer and graphic designer Pawel Piotrowski. In this day of digital and audio books, it's nice to see something that you can actually hold in your hands, but the pages of this book are not exactly what you would expect.

Piotrowski uses realistic imagery to produce a picture book that looks good enough to eat! Featuring the basic elements of a sandwich–lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, meat–the Polish artist created a three dimensional meal that readers can flip through and enjoy as a visual snack.

Each layer is a depiction of the delicious foods. Piotrowski tore holes out of the yellow paper cheese, ripped and crinkled the textured paper lettuce, and rounded the corners off of the bits of onion. Upon closing the book, the details of the bread look just as fresh as a real loaf. Yum!
