"Sand Art Hair" is the Latest Hair Trend Young Women Have Perfected

Following trends means that what you wear changes with the seasons, and now so does the color of your hair. Thanks to some fashion-forward experimentalists, there's a new hair trend known as “sand art” hair. This psychedelic style, which has been all over Instagram and Pinterest, takes inspiration from the type of colorful sand art many of us created as kids.

Like the colorful grains of sand poured into a clear container, the rainbow-colored strands of hair are all co-existing amongst one another without ever bleeding into each other. It's thanks to new hair products like Pravana's ChromaSilk Vivids that allow these young women to dye their gorgeous manes wild colors without the extra worry of messing up the shade or tone. In the end, these women have a prismatic head of hair, perfect for summer fun.
