The Radio Flyer Gets Tricked Out! But Hold On….It’ll Cost Ya.

I'm all for updating old classics but have we gone too far with the Radio Flyer? Does the updated concept Radio Flyer, called Cloud 9, have a chance to grab our hearts and open our wallets or will it receive a backlash like we've never seen before? From humble beginnings when an Italian immigrant Antonio Pasin started building wooden toy wagons in 1917, Radio Flyers have become perhaps the world's most famous maker of wagons, tricycles and other toys. Who doesn't remember jumping into one of these bright shiny wagons and blissfully being scooted around the block? Alas, the new concept wagon will come with some cool amenities. You'll get digital controls, speakers and a dock for an MP3 player. The luxury toy wagon is outfitted with 5-point safety harnesses, padded seats, cup holders, foot brakes and fold-out storage containers. There's even a digital handle that tracks temperature, time, distance and speed! I must say the wagon looks sleek with its cool curves but for a $1,000 price tag, I may just bust out my sister's kids rusty OG wagon. CNN article
