I first saw Ray Caesar's work at the Juxtapoz exhibit in Laguna Beach (see past blog post). What makes his artwork so unique are his real life experiences behind it. He spent 17 years after college working as a graphic artist in the art and photography department of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and his work is partly a reflection of images of abused and deformed children he saw there.
