Every Sunday, the same suave gentleman shows up outside the Nazarene Temple Apostolic Faith Church in Baltimore, Maryland, dressed in a different dapper outfit. M. Jordan Tierney, a local artist and photographer, has been snapping his portrait every week for many months now as she passes him on the way to a nearby farmers market, according to a friend who shared the series of 86 images on Imgur. The photographer even compiled 31 of the shots in a book to give him for Christmas, titling it A Month of Sundays.
The fashionisto has a flair for the flashy–his attire includes everything from red top hats to floor-length fur coats to polka-dotted ties to shiny purple pinstriped suits. Despite his varied and eclectic taste, he's consistent in serving up his Sunday best with a warm smile every weekend. In fact, he's such a steady fixture on the sidewalk corner that he even makes an appearance in the street view on Google Maps.
We have so many questions we wish we could ask the anonymous style icon. Like, where does he shop? How does he keeps his suits in such immaculate condition? Is his closet the size of an average bedroom? For now, we'll just have to applaud his panache–and the keen eye of the photographer who first recognized him–from a distance.
