3D modeler and graphic designer Chiara Biancheri enjoys working with fractal software to compose these ethereal creations. She combines her interest in fractal art, a form of digital art that uses calculations to create a mathematically-based image, with her love of floral design. She says, “I've been recently focusing on three dimensional flames, with a ‘photographic' approach and an evident organic and floral inspiration.”
There is an energy and excitement that generate from each piece as Biancheri combines reality with fantasy to form these expressive artworks. Each burst of color, combined with soft swirling patterns and rays of light, seems out of this world. The Italian artist says she is “deeply fascinated by the oneiric feeling so typical of fractal flames, and the intriguing patterns and geometries the fractal software can generate.”
