Over a week ago, we told you about an exciting new group show in Los Angeles that brings together some of the biggest and brightest names in the Lowbrow or Pop Surrealism art movement all together in one place. In celebration of their fifth anniversary, Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City asked 50+ artists from around the world to create a special piece. Called Zero to Sixty, the show opened on July 1, 2011 with a bang!
We asked photographer Brandon Shigeta, who you may remember as the one who shot Haroshi's skateboard deck art, to cover the opening reception of Zero to Sixty on behalf of My Modern Met.
