Jessica Stewart is a Staff Editor and Digital Media Specialist for My Modern Met, as well as a curator and art historian. Since 2020, she is also one of the co-hosts of the My Modern Met Top Artist Podcast. She earned her MA in Renaissance Studies from University College London and now lives in Rome, Italy. She cultivated expertise in street art which led to the purchase of her photographic archive by the Treccani Italian Encyclopedia in 2014. When she’s not spending time with her three dogs, she also manages the studio of a successful street artist. In 2013, she authored the book "Street Art Stories Roma" and most recently contributed to "Crossroads: A Glimpse Into the Life of Alice Pasquini." Ultra High-Definition 85-Megapixel Photo of the Moon Captures Every Tiny Crater

Astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy is back with a new high-definition look at the moon. The 85-megapixel image was taken right in McCarthy's backyard and shows all the glorious details that one would expect. In fact, one could pour over the image for hours to pick apart all the craters and geographical markings on the moon's surface. Interestingly, the final image isn't completely as it appears.

German photographer Jan Erik Waider has always been fascinated by the landscapes of the distant North. He spends much of his time exploring the rugged terrain of Greenland, Norway, Antarctica, and Iceland. For his latest series of abstract landscapes, Waider took a different approach and decided to focus on color. These aerial shots, taken in Iceland, break down the environment in a unique way and highlight the various tonalities that grace a single scene.

Incredible Dragonfly Photos Offer a Rare Look At Their Delicate Beauty

Astronomy professor Pieter van Dokkum has a special passion for photography. And in particular, an enthusiasm for photographing dragonflies. This led the Yale University educator to publish his book, Dragonflies: Magnificent Creatures of Water, Air, and Land. Over nearly 200 pages, Van Dokkum brings the reader on a journey across the life cycle of these magical insects. Part of the Odonata order, the winged creatures are found on every continent except Antarctica.

This Eco-Friendly Mural Uses Special Paint That Eats Smog To Help Clean the Air

A new mural in Poland is helping people breathe a little easier thanks to special paint. As part of the Converse City Forests project, Polish artists Dawid Ryski and Maciek Polak came together to design a piece of public art in Warsaw. The results aren't only aesthetically beautiful, but environmentally friendly, too. The artists' vision, which was executed by Good Looking Studio, came to life using paint that actually cuts down on pollution.
