Ghostly Deer Sculpture Stands Deep in a UK Forest

Artist David Freedman created this beautiful, ghostly deer sculpture deep in a UK forest. He was asked by the UK Forestry Commission to make a piece for the Wyre Forest in Worcestershire, England as part of a sensory trail, which make would make it accessible to people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. Despite being easy to access, the sculpture is set back from the pathway so that it appears deep in the forest.

Stunning Portral Street Art Illusions by 1010

Since 2009, German street artist 1010 has been creating these mysterious, portal-like street art illusions on walls around the world. While at first glance it looks like he's layering colored paper, upon closer inspection you realize that you're actually looking at paint on a wall. It's a different type of street art than we're used to.

Vintage Cars Glimmer with Stunning Reflections in Hyper-Realistic Painting Series

Cheryl Kelley's captivating paintings depict vintage cars with stunningly real reflections. The artist uses smooth canvases painted with high-gloss varnish to achieve the nearly photographic effect. In fact, she classifies her work as “photo-based realism,” deriving paintings from pictures she takes at car shows. In the reflections, the artist includes hints of life in yesteryear.
