Beautiful Street Art Illusion in Brooklyn by Aakash and Know Hope

New York-based Aakash Nihalani, whose known for his stellar tape art, recently teamed up with fellow street artist Know Hope in creating this beautiful illusion. On a bright blue wall near Aakash's studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the two made it look like a flock of birds were entering and exiting windows. It is called Uncornered.

Gorgeous Papercut Light Boxes by Hari & Deepti

As part of this year's SCOPE NY art show, Black Book Gallery presented stunning hand cut paper works by artists Hari & Deepti. The creative couple, based out of Denver, Colorado, each brings to the table different skill sets. Hari, whose full name is Harikrishnan Panicker, is a trained graphic designer and illustrator while Deepti Nair specializes in paper cut art.

Written Poetry in Paper Collages Form Intricate Designs

British artist Caroline Attan combines folded paper collages and handwritten poetry to create intricate and beautiful designs. Primarily using the expressive poetry of Pablo Neruda, she writes the text in rings, adding delicately folded paper shapes on top of the words to create circular compositions that are dizzying in their bold colors and mesmerizing designs.

New Zealand-based artist Yukari Kaihori's exquisite landscape paintings showcase natural beauty. Using both vivid and subdued colors with fine details, she depicts uninhabited spaces that feature luscious greenery and dotted bright flowers. Playing with techniques like glazing, her style is both controlled and uninhibited. Kaihori layers textures using repetitive brushstrokes, but also lets her media have a mind of its own as it diffuses and washes onto her composition.
